Dr. Salmon Oliech Owidi (PhD) - holds a PhD in Instructional Technology - Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, MSc in ICT (I.E. & I.D.) - Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, MSc in Data Science - University of East London, Postgraduate Diploma in Education - Maseno University, BSc in Computer Science - Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology.
Dr. Owidi is an innovative scholar, instructional technologist, and e-learning expert with extensive experience in software engineering, digital pedagogy, and machine learning. His professional and academic contributions span curriculum design, artificial intelligence in education(AIED), e-learning system development, and pedagogical infrastructure enhancement. He currently serves as the Director of Open Distance and e-Learning (ODeL) at Tom Mboya University, where he has pioneered the digitization of learning resources and AI-driven proctoring systems.
