Tom Mboya University (TMU) is a fully-fledged public university that was awarded itsCharter on 2nd August 2022. It has conducted two graduation ceremonies to confer degrees and award diplomas and certificates. Rising from a humble background of three programmes with an initial entry cohort of 116 students in 2016, TMU currentlyserves a student population of approximately 8,000 enrolled in various academic programmes. The University offers a rich complement of academic programmes organized into faculties with distinct programme coordination units. The programmes are supported by a dedicated team of academic, administrative, technical and support staff. With the development of this Strategic Plan (SP) for the 2024 – 2028 period, the University embarks on a journey to become a premier internationally recognised university, distinguished for its teaching, research and innovation.
