Course Description

The Bachelor of Education (Science with IT) prepares students to become effective science teachers by combining knowledge of physics, chemistry, biology, or mathematics with expertise in information technology. Minimum Requirements

HOLDERS OF KENYA CERTIFICATE OF SECONDARY EDUCATION (KCSE) WITH A MINIMUM AGGREGATE PERFORMANCE OF C+ INCLUDING C+ IN MATHEMATICS. (C+ REQUIRED IN ANY 2 SCIENCES) OR HOLDERS OF DIPLOMA IN EDUCATION (SCIENCE) FROM AN ACCREDITED INSTITUTION AND AN AGGREGATE OF C IN KCSE OR EQUIVALENT OR HOLDERS OF ‘O’ LEVEL DIVISION II OR EQUIVALENT PLUS A DIPLOMA FROM AN ACCREDITED INSTITUTION. OR HOLDERS OF ‘O’ LEVEL DIVISION III OR EQUIVALENT PLUS A CERTIFICATE AND DIPLOMA FROM AN ACCREDITED INSTITUTION. OR HOLDERS OF ‘O’ LEVEL DIVISION III OR EQUIVALENT PLUS A THREE-YEAR DIPLOMA FROM AN ACCREDITED SECONDARY INSTITUTION. OR HOLDERS OF A LEVEL WITH TWO PRINCIPAL PASSES OR EQUIVALENT IN RELEVANT SUBJECTS. OR HOLDERS OF A P1 CERTIFICATE FROM A TWO-YEAR POST-SECONDARY ACCREDITED TRAINING INSTITUTION OR HOLDERS OF A HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN RELEVANT FIELDS AND SHOULD HAVE ATTAINED AN AGGREGATE OF C IN KCSE.
