Course Description

A scholarly, research-intensive program focused on the theory and practice of teaching and learning across all educational levels. It explores instructional methods, teacher development, classroom dynamics, and learner-centered approaches, with the goal of enhancing educational effectiveness and equity.

Expectations

Duration: 3 years part-time Independent Research: Conduct original studies on teaching methods, classroom interaction, pedagogy in diverse contexts, or learner outcomes Academic Writing: Develop and defend a dissertation; contribute to scholarly publications Theoretical and Practical Expertise: Master pedagogical theories, teaching models, and reflective practice Teaching and Mentorship: Train pre-service and in-service teachers at tertiary level Innovation in Practice: Design and evaluate innovative instructional strategies and materials Professional Engagement: Participate in educational conferences, research networks, and policy consultations on pedagogy 1/2
