Course Description

This program focuses on the formulation, evaluation, and management of economic policies. It provides advanced skills in policy analysis, economic modeling, and strategic decision-making for public and private sector impact.

Expectations

Over the 2-year part-time period, students are expected to critically analyze economic issues, apply quantitative tools, and formulate evidence-based policy solutions. A strong grasp of public economics, ethical leadership, and the ability to manage professional and academic responsibilities is essential throughout the program.

Market Areas

Graduates can work in government ministries, international organizations, policy think tanks, economic advisory roles, NGOs, and financial institutions involved in policy planning and evaluation.

Minimum Requirements

UNDERGRADUATE BUSINESS/ECONOMICS DEGREE OR EQUIVALENT - 2 ND CLASS LOWER OR HIGHER FROM AN ACCREDITED INSTITUTION. (IF 2ND CLASS LOWER, THEN 2 YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE OR A RELEVANT POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IS REQUIRED)
