Course Description

This program focuses on advanced statistical methods and their practical application in various fields such as health, economics, agriculture, engineering, and social sciences. It covers probability theory, regression analysis, experimental design, multivariate analysis, and statistical computing. Students also gain proficiency in using statistical software and programming tools for data analysis and modeling.

Expectations

Students are expected to master statistical theory and apply it to real-world datasets using modern computational tools. They will develop the ability to interpret data, perform advanced analyses, and contribute to policy, planning, or scientific discovery. The program emphasizes accuracy, analytical thinking, and communication of statistical findings. Duration: 2 YEARS, PART-TIME ONLY.

Minimum Requirements

UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE IN MATHEMATICS, STATISTICS, ACTUARIAL SCIENCE OR EQUIVALENT - 2ND CLASS LOWER OR HIGHER FROM AN ACCREDITED INSTITUTION. (IF 2ND CLASS LOWER, THEN 2 YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE OR A RELEVANT POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IS REQUIRED)
