It covers fruits, vegetables, ornamentals, and landscape management while integrating modern technologies and research to enhance food security, nutrition, and environmental health.
Students are expected to develop expertise in plant cultivation, crop improvement, pest and disease control, and horticultural technologies. The program encourages innovation, sustainability, and research to enhance productivity and quality in horticulture. Duration: 2 YEARS, PART-TIME ONLY.
Graduates can work in agricultural research institutions, agribusiness firms, government extension services, horticultural export companies, landscape and urban planning agencies, and NGOs. Careers include horticulturists, crop specialists, extension officers, researchers, and consultants in sustainable agriculture and agribusiness.
