Course Description

This program equips students with advanced skills in teaching, training, and communication to promote agricultural knowledge and technologies. It covers curriculum development, extension methodologies, agricultural innovations, rural sociology, and research methods. The course prepares professionals to empower farming communities and support sustainable agricultural development through education and outreach.

Students are expected to develop strong pedagogical and communication skills, conduct needs-based training, and design effective extension programs. The program fosters leadership, innovation, and research in agricultural education and outreach. Duration: 2 YEARS, PART-TIME ONLY.

Minimum Requirements

UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE IN AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION & EXTENSION - 2ND CLASS LOWER OR HIGHER FROM AN ACCREDITED INSTITUTION. (IF 2ND CLASS LOWER, THEN 2 YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE OR A RELEVANT POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IS REQUIRED)
