DR. NICHOLAS CYRIL ONGWEN, PhD

Faculty of Physical and Biological Sciences

Dr. Ongwen holds a PHD in physics (expereimental and computational mechanics, thermodynamics, and acoustics) from Maseno University (Kenya). His research experience spans over 6 years with special interest in computational and experimental mechanics, acoustics, electronics, and thermodynamics of materials; micro electromechanical systems (MEMS); porous materials (earth blocks) for building and construction of affordable houses; materials for the aerospace; and material discovery by machine learning. Dr. has publised a total of 21 journal articles since 2019.
