MR. ODIWUOR CALVINE OTIENO

My area of research spans Actuarial Science, Statistics and Mathematics and ICT. I am currently a PhD Actuarial Science student at the University of Nairobi, working on a research “Ruin Probability and Stochastic Processesâ€. Prior to this I graduated with a Msc Actuarial Science from Maseno University in the year 2022. I also hold a Msc Mathematical Science from African Institute for Mathematical Science, Cameroon in the years 2017. Prior to this I graduated from Maseno University with a Bsc Mathematical Science (Actuarial Major) in the year 2015. Currently I am a Tutorial Fellow at the Faculty of Biological and Physical Science of Tom Mboya University.
Research Interest: Risk Mathematics, Actuarial Life Contingencies, Investment Science, Statistics for Financial Markets, Financial & Statistical Economics ,Data Science, Survival Analysis, Computer Algebra, Machine Learning & AI
