Prof. Elyjoy M. Micheni is the Ag. DVC - Academics, Research and Student Affairs, Tom Mboya University (TMU). She previously served as the Director - School of Business and Management Studies at the Technical University of Kenya (TUK) for Six years and Chairman - Department of Management Science and Technology at the Technical University of Kenya (TUK) for Seven years. She has served in various Committees within the University Administrative structure like: Deans, Grant Proposal, Recruitment, Disciplinary, Evaluation, University Policies, Graduation, Conference Organization and ISO Certification committees among others.

 

Prof. Elyjoy M. Micheni is an Associate Professor of Information Systems Management in the Department of Management Science and Technology at The Technical University of Kenya. She holds a PhD (Information Technology) from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, Master of Science (Computer Based Information Systems) from University of Sunderland (UK); Bachelor of Education from Kenyatta University; Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management from Kenya Institute of Management and a Higher Diploma in Guidance & Psychological Counselling from Presbyterian University, Kenya and a Certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme (SLDP) from Kenya School of Government. She has taught Management Information System courses for many years at University level. She has presented papers in scientific conferences and has many publications in referred journals. She has also co-authored a book for Middle level colleges entitled: “Computerized Document Processing” and a University level book entitled “Metrics and Models for Evaluating the Quality and Effectiveness of ERP Software - IGI Global (2019)”. Her career objective is to tap computer based knowledge as a tool to advance business activities, promote research in ICT and enhance quality service.
