About

Dr. Rodgers O. Odhiambo holds PhD in Law from St. Augustine University of Tanzania, LLM Law and Political Justice from Birkbeck, University of London, United Kingdom; LLB(Hons) from Birkbeck, University of London, United Kingdom: Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. He is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a legal practitioner with over 13 years standing.\r\nHe has previously taught law at the Africa Nazarene University where he taught for ten (10) years, he was an adjunct faculty at the University of Nairobi, School of Law where he taught LLM units and supervised LLM candidates, and Mount Kenya University, School of Law where he taught LLM units and supervised LLM candidates.\r\nDr Odhiambo specializes in the areas of human rights and development, natural resources governance, environmental law, public international law, and law and political justice. Dr. Odhiambo’s research interests are in the areas of human rights in the extractive sector, oil and gas governance in the context of indigenous communities' rights, access to justice in the context of legal education, Impact of natural resources developments on the environment, Political philosophy of justice, and Law and Development. \r\n
