About

Phionah Uhuru is a Tutorial Fellow at Tom Mboya University, Faculty of Law. She is currently pursuing her PhD at Selinus University of Sciences and Literature. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a specialization in intellectual property, competition law, data privacy, and legal technology. Phionah holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) degree from Moi University. She has taught at the Technical University of Kenya, while also providing legal consultancy services on complex issues relating to data protection and intellectual property. Through her research, teaching, and consultancy, Phionah bridges academic insights with practical legal challenges to benefit students. Phionah’s professional network spans academia, private legal practice, and public institutions across Kenya and Africa.
