FY 2021/2022 PERFORMANCE CONTRACT EVALUATION

Performance moderation for the FY 2021/2022 Performance Contract signed between the University Council and the Government of Kenya through the Ministry of Education was conducted on Monday 26^th September, 2022 at the University Boardroom.

The University was represented by: the Chairperson of the Council Dr. Augusta N. Abate; Independent Council Member Mr. Lawrence M. Njeru; Ag. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Charles O. Ochola; Ag. Deputy Vice-Chancellor (ARSA) Prof. Elyjoy M. Micheni; and the Performance Contracting Secretariat led by Dr. Alphonce J. Odondo.

Mr. Idi Masoud (Team Leader) and Mr. Dedan Odiwuor, an external independent team from the Public Service Performance Management and Monitoring Unit (PSPMMU) moderated the results of self-performance evaluation conducted by the university using the online Government Performance Contracting Information System (GPCIS) based on the 18^th Cycle Performance Contracting Guidelines.

The University presented comprehensive, verifiable, accurate, consistent and authenticated performance data to the external independent team to determine and verify the reported performance. The achievement by the University was a composite score of 2.7072 (Very Good).
