PROFILE

Boke Joyce Wambura is an academic and researcher in Language and Linguistics, Gender and Discourse and Female Genital Mutilation. Her particular areas of research include the role of language in academia, gender and social stratification, language use in the media and critical discourse analysis. Boke has a wealth of experience spanning over ten years in teaching at college and University levels in Kenya and the UK, supervision of postgraduate students, scholarly research, writing and community work.
