Message from the Dean
This Faculty houses programs in Biological, Physical and Earth Sciences including Agriculture. The faculty is dedicated to helping students become lifelong learners and preparing them for careers in the rapidly emerging knowledge-based economy. Through the active professional development of its faculty and the use of state-of-the-art science laboratories, it has enhanced learning environment. Students in this faculty have demonstrated their value in a number of initiatives, including the Presidential Digital Talent Program, which has helped many of them land on jobs fast. Due to the high skills demonstrated, many employers have absorbed our students in organizations where they underwent their industrial attachments.

OVERVIEW
STEM and the Fourth Industrial Revolution
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) are the major drivers of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which is radically transforming employment models and management strategies across almost all global sectors.
The current wave of digital and technological breakthroughs is unprecedented in speed. Unlike previous industrial revolutions, this one is evolving at an exponential pace and is disrupting nearly every sector globally. This demands a complete paradigm shift in education, training, governance, and management systems.
In response to these transformations, the Faculty has launched programmes focused on producing innovative and creative graduates who are adaptive to changing societal trends and needs.

The Faculty is headed by the Dean of Faculty whose roles and responsibilities include:
