Course Description

A research-intensive program that integrates psychological theory, mental health practice, and empirical inquiry. It prepares professionals to offer therapeutic interventions, psychological assessments, and mental health support in clinical and educational settings.

Expectations

Duration: 3 years part-time Independent Research: Conduct original research in areas such as mental health, psychosocial support, educational guidance, or career development Practical Competence: Apply counselling skills and ethical standards in real-world settings Academic Writing: Produce and defend a doctoral dissertation; contribute to scholarly publications Teaching & Supervision: Assist in training future counsellors and educators Professional Development: Participate in academic conferences, workshops, and professional networks Community Engagement: Translate research into practice through outreach, policy input, or program development
