This program focuses on the chemical processes occurring in the environment and the impact of pollutants on ecosystems and human health. It covers water and air quality analysis, soil chemistry, waste management, toxicology, and environmental monitoring. Students are trained to apply chemical principles to assess and mitigate environmental pollution through research and technology.
Students are expected to analyze environmental samples, monitor pollution levels, and develop strategies for environmental protection using advanced analytical tools. The program promotes scientific integrity, critical thinking, and practical skills to tackle current and emerging environmental challenges. Duration: 2 YEARS, PART-TIME ONLY.
Graduates can work in environmental agencies, research institutions, industrial compliance departments, environmental consulting firms, waste management companies, and NGOs. They are well-suited for roles such as environmental chemists, pollution control officers, sustainability analysts, or environmental health and safety consultants.
